Dr Ahmed Kazmi is a specialist dermatologist and clinical senior lecturer. He undertook his training in London at prestigious centres including The Royal London Hospital and The Royal Free.
He enjoys all aspects of adult and paediatric dermatology including acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and skin checks/skin cancer management.
He has particular expertise in hair and scalp disorders (alopecia areata, androgenic alopecia, scarring alopecias etc.) including injection therapies for these disorders. He has previously successfully completed the Fellowship in Alopecia of the Australasian Hair & Wool Research Society and is currently undertaking the Evidence Based Hair Fellowship of the Donovan Hair Academy.
He also has a special interest in skin of colour dermatology, JAK inhibitors/biologics and transgender medicine. Where appropriate he is able to use botulinum toxin in the treatment of hyperidrosis and rosacea.
He is active in research and trials, has published in medical journals and participated in the creation of guidelines for alopecia areata.
Dr Kazmi always aims to provide holistic and inclusive care for all patients and welcomes patients of all skin types, hair types and backgrounds.
