Dr. Flavia Rodrigues Dias

Dr. Flavia Rodrigues Dias is a board-certified dermatologist from Brazil, specializing in clinical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, as well as hair restoration surgery

After completing her medical training in 2013, Dr. Flavia placed first in a competitive national selection process for dermatology residency programs at several institutions across Brazil for state and federal public hospitals. She completed her residency at the Padre Bento Hospital Complex in São Paulo, a reference public center for dermatological care, where she trained in managing complex skin conditions, dermatologic surgery, and dermatological subspecialties.

In 2019, she was approved to become a Board-Certified Dermatologist at the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (SBD) after completing a three-year residency program and comprehensive theoretical and practical exams accredited by the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB).

To further specialize, Dr. Flavia completed a one-year fellowship in hair restoration surgery at the Municipal Public
Servants’ Hospital of São Paulo, gaining expertise in hair transplantation techniques, including Follicular Unit
Extraction (FUE).

Dr. Flavia presents regularly at national and international conferences and has authored a chapter on FUE hair transplantation in a Brazilian medical textbook. She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Membership Committee for the Brazilian Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABCRC), where she contributes to advancements in hair and scalp disorder treatments and provides specialized training for dermatologists and plastic surgeons. In recognition of her 10 years of distinguished medical practice, Dr. Flavia received honors from the Regional Council of Medicine of São Paulo (CREMESP).

Her focus includes managing hair and scalp disorders (such as alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, and scarring alopecias), skin cancer, and inflammatory skin diseases. She is also dedicated to surgical dermatology and cosmetic procedures.
