Dr Niluka Paththinige

Dr Niluka Paththinige obtained her MBBS with honours from the Faculty of Medicine University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and awarded best overall performance MBBS in 2007. In 2015 she obtained her MD in Dermatology from the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, whilst training for the MD she worked at The National Hospital of Sri Lanka, and the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital, Colombo.

Dr Paththinige worked as a Dermatology Fellow at St. George Hospital, and Premier Specialists in Kogarah, NSW from 2017 to 2019, and was granted Endeavour Executive Fellowship (Endeavour leadership programme) by the Australian Government in 2018. As a Consultant Dermatologist she then practiced in public and private hospitals in Sri Lanka for three years followed by a role as Dermatology Fellow at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Skin Hospital, Westmead Public Hospital, and Westmead Children’s Hospital in NSW for 1 year, before joining the Sinclair Dermatology team in  Melbourne in November 2024.
