Dr. Sean Yong is a board-certified dermatologist from Malaysia. In 2010, he graduated from the National University of Ireland. After completing his internal medicine speciality training in 2015, he obtained his dermatology speciality training from the National University of Malaysia in 2020. He then joined the University of Malaya's Faculty of Medicine as a dermatologist and lecturer. In tertiary reference centres and private practices, he treats hair and scalp disorders, as well as general dermatology issues.
Dr. Yong is actively involved in clinical trials and research that focus on psoriasis, atopic eczema, and hair and scalp problems. He has published in several dermatology journals and presented at multiple conferences. His areas of special interest include hair and scalp disorders, a variety of skin conditions, and advanced treatment for severe skin conditions.
